Illustrator to 3D Studio

Just something I threw together. It's my first tutorial, so it's very cut and paste, but it's not really as lengthly as it looks, and I think I managed to explain it well enough for a max user that knows their way around the basics of the program.

One of my teachers brought up this problem of how bringing Illustrator files into Max always seemed to make the designs difficult to work with. He's brought it up several times, but this time it reminded me of a similar problem in Maya he'd helped me solve last quarter, and with a little experimentation I worked out this solution. So, thanks to Steve Smith for this.
